Join us for a morning of fun at the Lauderdale Lakes Country Club golf course followed by a delicious picnic lunch with all the trimmings. Plus, lots of great raffle items to win!

Bethel Farmer’s Market | Saturday, August 1, 2026 from noon to 4 pm
Bethel will host an inaugural Farmers Market & Faire at Bethel on Saturday, August 3 from noon-4 pm.
We are expecting a nice variety of offerings, including homegrown local produce, local crafts and artisan pieces, local honey
and products, a free kids’ corner, a food truck, live music, a Bethel Bake Sale, and more!Please join us!
Bethel Trunk or Treat| Halloween Event – Oct 31, 2025 3:00 – 5 pm
Bethel is excited to share that we will be once again be hosting a Trunk or Treat event in our Bethel UMC parking lot in October. Please join us for games, laughter and, of course, treats!
Community Meal | Saturday December 14, 2024 at noon
We will be supplying and serving casseroles for a hearty midday meal to the Elkhorn community at Matheson Memorial Library. Doors open at noon We look forward to seeing you there!
Wednesday Morning Prayer Group | Wednesday, Weekly

University Free Lunch | Tuesdays during the school year
TGIFLT (Thank God It’s Free Lunch Tuesday) was has been upended by the Covid-19 pandemic. However, food is available for pickup Monday – Friday from 5-7 pm. Meals can be picked up at the Prairie Street entrance of First United Methodist Church in Whitewater. This is the same location as Tuesday Free Lunch.
Our Summer Speaker Series begins Sunday, June 9th. Our guest speaker will be Joe Sherman. Joe is a Vietnam veteran and active member of First UMC. On July 7th, Dawn Heath, will speak to raise awareness of the prevalence of Human Traffiking work in our community and what we can do to stop it. On Aug 19th, Rosalie Koehler will speak of her spiritual journey related to events around 9/11. After each there is a potluck to follow. All are welcome!
